About the speaker

Doug Field OBE

Doug is the former CEO of the East of England Co-op, the largest independent retail business in East Anglia. As CEO, he focused on protecting and growing the legacy of its members, ensuring their interests were safeguarded for future generations. Doug has a strong connection to the East of England and its vibrant communities. His volunteer work spans public sector roles, charities, and business organisations, reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact.

He has dedicated himself to supporting businesses across East Anglia by building partnerships and encouraging collaboration. In 2021, Doug was honoured with an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the New Year's Honours List for his services to business.
