Following FRS 102 Leases - the countdown to change, which provided an overview of the upcoming changes to lessee accounting, this webinar will provide a deeper dive into some of the more complex and judgemental areas of the new requirements.

Assuming a high-level knowledge of the new lessee accounting model, we will work through some real-life examples to further explore topics including:

• Do I have a lease arrangement?
• What key judgements do I need to consider for estimating the lease liability including lease payments, lease term and more? 
• How do I treat the right-of-use assets on initial application and beyond? 
• As an existing FRS 102 reporter, how do I initially apply the amendments on transition?
