Event information

This webinar will provide an update on the EU’s VAT in the Digital Age proposals with a particular focus on the proposal to move to real-time digital reporting based on e-invoicing. The new system should give Member States valuable information they need to control cross-border transactions and step up the fight against cross-border VAT fraud, while reducing administrative and compliance costs for businesses. These proposals have met some resistance from particular Member States so we ask: is e-invoicing really the answer? If so, will HMRC follow suit? And what impact will the proposals have on UK businesses doing business in or with the EU?

Key benefits

  • Gain practical insights into the new rules.
  • Learn about the phased implementation timeline.
  • Find out what the changes mean to UK businesses engaged in cross-border trade.
