Event information

This webinar is brought to you in partnership with MHA.

Join this webinar to find out how the Trustees’ Annual Report will change in 2026 when the new Charities SORP takes effect. This session is designed to help charity finance professionals, trustees, and those supporting them to understand what’s changing and how to prepare effectively. We’ll walk you through the key updates and what they mean in practice, and share tips on how to craft well-structured, engaging reports that meet the new requirements.

It is expected that there will be some important changes to the Trustees’ Annual Report in areas including impact and sustainability reporting, accountability for the use of volunteers and disclosures regarding reserves. These areas will need careful consideration in advance of the first period in which charities adopt the revised SORP.

Whether you’re producing reports yourself, or supporting others who do, this session will provide practical insights into making your reports clearer, more compliant, and more meaningful for stakeholders.

Key benefits
