Event information

Did you know that many charities fail to claim all the withholding tax (WHT) reliefs that they are entitled to?

Hear from Louise Hillman, Director of Finance at the Medical Research Foundation about how maximising WHT recovery has provided valuable funds for her charity’s work, and why she is passionate to raise awareness about the topic.

Tom Daffern, Tax Director at PwC, will join Louise to explain that not all withholding tax is automatically recovered, how to quantify this impact and how to ensure your charity can improve its investment returns. Tom will explain how WHT works and what reliefs are available for charities. He will also share how he supports charities with unlocking withholding tax to maximise investment income.

Key benefits

  • Hear about the key investment taxes and how to claim reliefs.
  • Understand your charity’s investment profile and its impact on WHT reliefs.
  • Learn about your charity’s tax position and entitlement to reliefs.
  • Find out how to get support with minimising WHT.
