ICAEW Annual Conference 2025: what delegates had to say about their experience

The range of speakers was incredible - it is always good to hear from folks who are not in our industry but having this be Jill Scott and Karenjeet Kaur Bains was really quite special. The insights from their discussions very much resonated with me and it gave me hope that some of my own skills and personality traits will help me to cope with this current period of transformation.

First rate, inspirational speakers. Emma Vardy was excellent.

I booked to fulfil some of my CPD requirements but got so much more. The speakers were thought provoking and inspirational. Excellent event.

Sometimes it's important to be at an event that helps to remind you what you've achieved by, or through, being an ACA - we've earned the right to feel the pressure, we deserve to be in the room.

This was a great event with varied speakers, topics and takeaways.

I loved the variety of speakers and in particular the breakout sessions, as I could pick topics I was interested in. Overall the organisation was excellent, the venue was perfect for the type of event, catering was fantastic and I also enjoyed the mix of [exhibitors].

The event is an excellent opportunity for Chartered Accountants to network, share experiences and learn about the latest issues facing the industry. It is always interesting to hear the stories of other ACA's that have achieved incredible things in life.

I was pleasantly surprised at how "human" the key note speeches were rather than completely technical.
