WHY TAKE THIS COURSE?

Month-end reporting often relies on time-consuming manual data manipulation, copy-pasting, and version management. This course shows you how to automate those processes using practical, proven Excel techniques. You’ll learn how to connect to your accounting system data, cleanse and consolidate it, and build automated management reports and dashboards that update at the click of a button.

Expect a hands-on, high-impact learning experience that delivers tools you can use immediately to shorten your reporting timetable and enhance decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Extract and transform data from accounting systems into management-ready information.
• Apply advanced Excel functions to cleanse and convert system data.
• Build automated “data bridges” to consolidate and transfer results into management reporting tools.
• Design dynamic management reports with charts, variance analysis, and traffic light indicators.
• Create waterfall charts to bridge budget to actual results.
• Use historic data to automate rolling forecasts and strategic plans.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
Finance professionals involved in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), management accounting, or reporting who want to automate manual month-end processes, strengthen data control, and accelerate turnaround time for management information.

Please bring a PC laptop equipped with Excel 2007 or later to complete this course (not suitable for Mac).
Model files will be provided for use during the course, and post-course tutor support is available.
