Event information

This webinar is brought to you in partnership with Marsh.

In this webinar, we explore the critical importance of mental health and wellbeing in the workplace with Alistair Schuberth and Lorna Feeney from Marsh. The discussion will focus on two distinct yet interconnected perspectives: the organisational responsibility for fostering a healthy work environment, and the unique role of insolvency practitioners in supporting mental health during times of financial distress.

In the first segment, we will explore the essential measures businesses should implement to proactively address work-related stress and mental health challenges. We will discuss how organisations can effectively measure and identify signs of mental ill health for their employees at individual, team, and organisational levels. Attendees will learn about fulfilling the duty of care obligations, ensuring that employees feel supported and valued. The second part of the webinar will focus on the responsibilities of insolvency practitioners and administrators when they assume control of an organisation. We will address the critical question: are they providing adequate preventive measures for work-related stress and mental health?

Attendees will learn how organisations can proactively address work-related stress and mental health challenges by fulfilling their duty of care and creating a supportive workplace environment. The webinar also explores the critical role of insolvency practitioners in protecting employee wellbeing during financial distress, ensuring they meet health and safety obligations.
