About the speakers

Tracy Fletcher | Chair | Smart Works Leeds

Tracy enjoyed a 20-year career in Financial Services, working in senior leadership roles, before launching her own banking recruitment business in 2008. Throughout her Career Tracy has been a huge advocate for women, having been both an active signatory of the HM Treasury Women in Finance Charter and mentoring a number of new business owners and finance professionals.

She joined Smart Works initially in 2019 as a volunteer coach and was appointed Chair in 2023. In the last two years the Charity has gone from strength to strength, last year helping over 1000 women in our region.

Following the sale of her recruitment business last year she is working on a number of consultancy assignments, giving herself some much-needed work life balance.

“I am so proud and privileged to have the opportunity to be the chair of Smart Works Leeds. I am excited for the future of the centre.”

Becky Maguire | Office Managing Partner | Azets

Becky Maguire is a Partner at Azets, Head of Tax for the Yorkshire Region, and Leeds Office Managing Partner.

She leads the delivery of tax services to a diverse range of companies, from small owner-managed businesses to large international corporate groups. With the tax landscape having changed significantly in recent years, her focus is on helping businesses manage tax risk and ensuring compliance obligations are met efficiently. Recognizing that tax is now a vital part of business strategy, she works to ensure business owners have the right priorities on their radar and are equipped to navigate the complexities and challenges that arise.

Outside of work, Becky enjoys staying active and spending as much time as possible outdoors, preferably in the mountains or by the sea. She is passionate about cycling and walking, and, as she puts it: “I love cycling and walking, although now with a young son in tow!”
