Event Information

Topic: Mastering the art of goal setting

The group brings together female professionals working in accountancy and finance-related roles, spanning various industries, disciplines, and backgrounds. This platform encourages the sharing of experiences, open learning, collaboration, networking, and peer-to-peer support.

In today's fast-paced financial landscape, understanding what you want and how to get it is crucial. This session will focus on the powerful strategies successful women use to define ambitious goals, overcome obstacles, and champion their own career progression.

Why you should attend

  • All sessions are confidential, allowing participants to gain support from fellow professionals and the opportunity for open discussion.

  • The sessions give you the opportunity to grow your professional network, forge new business relationships, and learn about key topics relevant to you and your career.

  • There is no charge for attending sessions, and participants are encouraged to actively contribute to discussions and propose topics for future sessions.

Previous discussion topics

The group often features guest speakers, and past topics / questions have included:

  • Opportunities and emerging trends
  • Unlock your full trends
  • Is self-doubt holding you back? If so, how do you look to build your confidence
  • What specific techniques have you found effective in championing yourself, particularly when it comes to negotiations for promotions, salary increases, or challenging work assignments?

About the Chair and Speaker

Rozalynne Johnson | Founder of Finance with Flow

Roz is the founder of Finance with Flow. A Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 20 years of experience in setting up and leading Finance teams across small and large corporations, Roz built up a strong team of professionals who have expertise that cover all aspects of finance, providing other businesses with a ready-made Outsourced Finance Department.

Roz embodies her desire to enable businesses to thrive through Finance with Flow, who would not be able to access this with in-house personnel.

Outside of finance, Roz is a passionate advocate for holistic well-being and yoga, embracing a mindful and balanced lifestyle.

Angela Dellar | Founder, Executive Coach and Coach Supervisor | tRU leadership®

Angela is a transformational leadership coach, change facilitator and consultant, speaker and author who enjoys inspiring people to upgrade their thinking and conduct for even better personal and professional performance. Her style is personable, supportive, creative and down to earth, continually role modelling straight talk appropriately delivered.

With a unique blend of people, creative, operational and commercial acumen as an ICF accredited coach (PCC), CEO, entrepreneur and a qualified accountant (ACA), she supports managers and leaders to grow their whole system thinking and conduct for sharper horizon scanning, stronger relationships and sustainable organisational performance.

An advanced practitioner in group dynamics, Angela is expert at reading a room and supporting authentic dialogue of what gets in the way of open relationships of high trust, collaboration and innovation and facilitating productive shifts in culture and behaviours.

Angela fundamentally believes every individual, team and organisation has even more potential than they currently access due to our innate human hard wiring. When people increasingly understand, surface, are aware of and learn to regulate their defensive reactions, they get out of their own way, grow self-trust, powerful inner confidence and can support others to do likewise.

With over 25 years of hands-on business leadership and change experience in blue chip organisations including KPMG, Marsh Inc and Atkins plc, and a myriad of privately owned businesses, Angela enjoys supporting all human flourishing. Her latest book explores the thinking and conduct upgrade necessary for authentic self-leadership in the twenty-first century. She loves sharing insight across the spectrum of senior leaders through to her pro bono work with young adults. She also loves running and run leading.
