About the chair

Avrille Palha | Senior Banker | European Investment Bank

Avrille Palha is a Senior Banker at the European Investment Bank. She works in the Lending Directorate responsible for structuring loan facilities to corporates.

In the past, Avrille worked for Europe Arab Bank in London as a Relationship Director. She was responsible for managing banking relationships with UK corporate clients that trade in the Middle East. Prior to this, Avrille was a Director at Bayern LB in London, where she was responsible for structuring loan facilities to key UK corporates, including regulated utilities. She has also worked for the Standard Bank Group in London, looking after commodity-related corporates. Avrille started her career at Deloitte and Touche, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.

Avrille is a member of the ICAEW (ACA). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Rhodes University, South Africa, majoring in Accounting and Commercial Law
