Event information

With audit season beginning, Excel MVP and FCA David will showcase little known Excel tools, commands, formulas & AI to help with auditing in this demo heavy session. Whilst we Excel for its flexibility, compared to robust databases, the flexibility comes at a price as 88% of spreadsheets have errors. Excel has rarely used tools to detect & prevent issues, such as Trace Precedents, Evaluate Formula, Show Formulas View plus the ability to use AI to interpret formulas or build formulas is becoming a vital tool to understand. David will also showcase the latest developments in collaborating across teams, linking files, combining data across worksheets, working across borders (with new built-in currency conversion & translation formulas). David will cover certain tools to help with sampling methodology, help to identify items above materiality, before/after cut-off dates and more.

CPD hours

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement.
