Dean Neaves, Senior Manager, Quality Assurance Department, ICAEW
Dean Neaves is a Senior Manager in ICAEW’s Quality Assurance Department. Dean leads ICAEW’s Practice Assurance and DPB (Investment Business) monitoring activities and has experience of visiting practices of all sizes throughout the UK. He worked in the audit practice of a Big Four firm prior to joining ICAEW in 2016 and is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience.

Dan Bevington, Quality Assurance Reviewer, ICAEW
Dan Bevington is a reviewer in ICAEW’s Quality Assurance Department. Dan leads reviews on ICAEW’s Practice Assurance and DPB (Investment Business) monitoring activities across practices of all sizes throughout the UK. He has worked in the audit practices of a Top Ten firm and a regional firm prior to joining ICAEW in 2022 and is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience.

Hilary Barrett, Quality Assurance Reviewer, ICAEW
Hilary Barrett joined ICAEW in 2024 as a reviewer in the Quality Assurance Department. She trained and became a partner at a small general practice firm and subsequently worked in various roles in the audit and financial reporting departments of several large accountancy firms. Hilary conducts a variety of monitoring visit types, across the size range of firms, from sole practitioners to Big Four.
