About the speakers

Vanessa Stuart, Director, Squire Patten Boggs
Vanessa Stuart is a director specialising in restructuring and insolvency, advising practitioners, lenders and corporates on high-value matters. Recognised by Chambers, she combines technical strength and commercial judgement, handling contentious and non-contentious including restructurings, distressed transactions, litigation and insolvency appointments.

Victoria Alexandrou, Insolvency Manager, ICAEW
Victoria has over 20 years’ insolvency experience. She has worked in firms ranging from a sole practitioner to one of the Big 4 and completed JIEB in 2011. She joined ICAEW’s QAD department in 2016 as a reviewer, completing both insolvency and practice assurance visits, before being promoted to manager in 2024. Outside of work, Victoria enjoys running, watching motor sports, especially WRC, and is an avid reader.
