Event information

In business, progress depends on how clearly ideas are understood, shared and acted on. Whether introducing yourself, presenting a recommendation or speaking in meetings, effectiveness is shaped not only by what you say, but by how clearly your message is delivered and received.

This BritCham series brings together core masterclasses from Write the Talk, designed to help professionals communicate with clarity, confidence and impact in everyday situations. Each session focuses on a specific communication challenge and provides practical tools that can be applied immediately in real business contexts. The workshops are interactive and grounded in CPD‑accredited training programmes.

This session, Masterclass 3: Delivering your message with impact, focuses on how delivery influences understanding and engagement. While knowing what to say is important, how a message is delivered, including pace, emphasis and pause, shapes whether it is understood and remembered. Building on structure developed in earlier sessions, participants will practise delivering messages in a way that is clear, confident and engaging.

Key takeaways

  • Understand how delivery affects communication outcomes.
Learn how pace, emphasis and pause influence whether messages are understood and remembered.

  • Develop practical techniques to improve delivery.
