Event information

Hong Kong continues to play a significant role as a gateway to Asia and a trusted connector between Mainland China, the UK and international markets. As business opportunities across Asia continue to advance, Hong Kong’s position as a regional platform for capital, professional services, trade, investment and cross-border collaboration is becoming increasingly important. Under the Go Global initiative, the city has a clear role in supporting businesses as they expand internationally, and the accountancy profession is strategically placed to enable that growth through trust, governance, transparency and professional expertise.

This evening session will bring together ICAEW, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and Hong Kong Business Network (HKBN) members to hear directly from some of Hong Kong’s most senior business and professional leaders, including those helping to shape the city’s economic and professional future. The discussion will provide timely insights into what is happening on the ground in Hong Kong, how the business landscape is evolving, and where opportunities are emerging for professionals and firms connected to the UK, Hong Kong and Asia.

The event will also provide an opportunity for members of both institutes to connect, exchange perspectives and strengthen professional relationships through networking after the discussion.
