Geopolitics now sits at the top of the global risk agenda. Ongoing tensions in the Middle East, the war in Ukraine, shifting dynamics in the Indo-Pacific and intensifying strategic competition are adding new complexity to international relations, security and trade.

For businesses, these pressures are no longer distant foreign policy issues. They are shaping supply chains, investment decisions, regulation, energy security, market access and the wider operating environment. Climate, critical minerals, technology and defense are also becoming increasingly bound up with geopolitical risk.
