Event information

This session explores the potential for AI agents and ‘Cowork’ tools (from Microsoft, OpenAI, and Anthropic) to autonomously perform one or more tasks across an accounting workflow. We will look at the current capabilities and examples of AI agents, project their improvement and adoption by enterprises. We will critically assess viable use cases for AI agents across accounting firms and departments. Finally, we will predict future evolutions of AI in accounting.

About the speakers

Rajendra Shroff, Director, Blu Artificial Intelligence

Rajendra is a consultant, educator, and public speaker specialising in enterprise AI. He works with corporations to integrate AI into their strategies, identify high-value business use cases, and train mid-to-senior management. Raj also teaches AI-focused courses at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Campus.edu, and the Asian Institute of Thailand. Raj previously worked at AXA, a French multinational insurance firm, in project management and finance roles. He holds a BSc in Management from the London School of Economics and an MBA from The University of Hong Kong.

CPD hours
