We will explore the signs that your business is ready to scale up and highlight what needs to be in place before you start the journey, with a focus on developing a strategy and defining clear objectives and KPIs.

About the speakers

Edward Partridge, Head of UK Affinity, Marsh

Edward is a seasoned insurance professional with over 23 years of experience in the industry. As Head of UK Affinity for Marsh, Edward’s passion is working closely with partners to understand the unique needs of their members. His focus on building strong relationships combined with his extensive experience and sector focus, make him a trusted advisor for both affinity groups and SMEs. Above all, Edward is dedicated to delivering member benefit and mutual growth through an honest and collaborative approach.

Paul Piccirillo, FCA, ACC

Paul has over 25 years of experience working with high-growth SMEs, supporting them to grow, fund, and exit. Qualifying with BDO, he moved on to work as a corporate finance adviser and finance director. Working across a range of sectors, including technology and wellbeing, he has completed multiple fundraisings, acquisitions, and exits.

He is an accredited executive and Scaling Up coach. For the last seven years, he has worked as a business coach, board advisor, and executive coach, helping entrepreneurs and enterprises realise their full potential. Paul is a growth expert on the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, delivered in conjunction with Saïd Business School, and a coach on ICAEW’s Network for Finance Leaders program.

CPD hours

ICAEW's revised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Regulations bring in new CPD requirements. This includes a minimum number of hours and an ethics requirement. Attending this webinar could contribute up to 0.5 hours of verifiable CPD, providing you can demonstrate that the content is relevant to your role.
