Event information

Our second webinar in the scale-up series will explore the importance of solid foundations in your business to drive it forward. Are the right processes in place to grow your business? Is your finance function fit for purpose and can it keep pace with growth? Also, with data being key, we will explore the processes that need to be in place to collect data so that it can be tracked and accessed easily. This webinar will also look at intellectual property (IP) including how to build an IP strategy and protect your IP. Our panel of speakers will share their insights and experiences.

Key benefits

  • Discover why solid foundations are essential to drive your business forward.
  • Understand the importance of data and what processes are needed to collect and track data.
  • Explore how to develop and protect your IP.

About the speakers

Anne Allibone, Commercial Fractional CFO, FCA

Anne is a commercial fractional CFO with broad advisory and industry experience. Having trained at KPMG, in Audit for the media and technology sectors, and working as a Transactions Advisor, Anne then moved into industry. Various Finance and Operations director positions within multi-national and multi-brand organisations gave her a broad experience base and included being part of the executive team of BBC Worldwide (now BBC studios) as Head of Finance and Business Intelligence for the advertising division.

For a better balance of work and family life Anne changed to fractional work a decade ago and has since worked with a wide range of clients with roles varying from advisory work through to in-house CFO and COO positions. Specialising in SaaS technology businesses this included transformation of a SaaS scale up for exit and subsequent sale to a US trade buyer.

Anne enjoys working in the fast paced environment of start ups and has also mentored other fractional CFOs.

Glenn Fletcher, CEO, Tribosonics, BSc, FCA

Glenn qualified with PwC and worked in audit, business recovery and corporate finance. He moved into industry in financial leadership and then general management and worked all over the world in a listed global chemical & fibres manufacturing company that introduced innovative and sustainable products.

Having gained industrial and corporate experience, in 2007 Glenn decided to do something more entrepreneurial and moved into a cycle of founding, funding (via VC/PE), scaling and creating value in businesses to bring to market innovative industrial technology products with a sustainability impact, either in protecting human health or in reducing environmental impact.

Thus, Glenn has experience and expertise in putting in place the technical, innovation, commercial and team related building blocks for growth, value creation and sustainability impact. Glenn's latest and current venture is Tribosonics, where he is CEO of this hardtech business that is providing end-to-end edge based sensing systems to the Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) sector that facilitate emissions reductions, energy efficiency, regulatory compliance and promote asset health in IET.
